DCS apparently doesnt work with dx12 except in 1. Its a bit of a shame since I am absolutely loving this game on high settings compared to ULQ but I cannot play my fav gamemode. If it works then I will know its a War Thunder issue. Here is the configuration: Win8 64bit, Trackersource: faceAPI V3.2.6 // Gameprotocol: FreeTrack 2.0 with the following setting: 'UseTrackIR, hide FreeTRack' & 'Start dummy TrackIR.exe' I used the DCSA10C.ini. I tried starting both application with admin rights, but that does not help. Yeah i'm downloading DCS world so I will see how the tracking goes with that. A10-C DCS does not recognize any movements anymore. I alt-tab and stop/start to fix that, but I've never had long hangs like you're experiencing. My only problem is occasional "freak outs" where the tracking jumbles up directions. I'm using the Acella mk2 filter, pointracker 1.1, and freetrack 2.0 with those settings, a ps eye with film over it and an ir clip. I was trying to find the article on the facetracknoir site I used to get mine to work, haven't yet, but I do know that the two biggest points were setting the Accela reduction to 20 and the smoothing to 1. Does windows 10 treat apps differently when they are alt tabbed? Edited Decemby JG3_Luftwaffle Im pretty sure it has something to do with windowing since alt tabbing stops the input lag bout and the tracking doesn't work at all in windowed mode. I'm going to try redownloading the TIRviews DLL since i copied it over from my win7 PC, i guess that could be causing issues.Įdit: I also found that alt tabbing and just putting the facetrack on screen for a split second renews tracking. But its not a constant input lag, it works fine and then the in game translations freeze for a good 10 seconds before going through all the movements i made in that time and returning to normal. I had higher smoothing settings from my copied config because my old webcam was a bit crap. What about your smoothing settings? 5-10 is best for war thunder, i think.
